Nantasket Survey Engineering was founded to make our clients and employees successful and satisfied. We accomplish this by being honest, open, and attentive, developing long-term relationships, and by listening and responding to each other's needs.

Nantasket Survey Engineering has land surveyors registered in Massachusetts, Maine, and Rhode Island. Our Managing Principal, David Ray, has over 25 years of experience as a land surveyor. Services provided under his leadership include property line, deformation, topographic, title insurance, pipeline, hydrographic, control, construction, route, subdivision, Global Positioning System (GPS), interior building,

Land Court, roadway, accident, airport, aerial photogrammetric, and As-Built surveys. His client roster includes private landowners, residential and commercial developers, institutions, towns, cities, utilities, state agencies, and the federal government. While David has worked on numerous large-scale projects his area of special interest is coastal surveys. Living on the coast in the South Shore, David has a great deal of experience

with littoral and riparian projects and he has done extensive work in Boston Harbor recreating the 1880 Harbor Line, bulkhead lines, and pierhead lines for projects such as the New England Aquarium, Chelsea River crossing, and Clippership Wharf. David currently serves as the Chair for the Harbor Management Committee for the Town of Hull, the Board of Directors for Lakota Kidz, and the Spinnaker Island Yacht Club marina committee. In the past he served on committees within the Council of Professional Surveyors (COPS) a special interests subcommittee of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC). He is also a member of the Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers (MALSCE) and the Maine Society of Land Surveyors. He is a graduate of Oregon State University with a bachelor of science in Forest Engineering from the College of Forestry.
